Shining events boosts ticket sales for the Shire

Ticket sales for Sutherland Entertainment Centre are given a boost with the installation of an eye-catching stainless steel electronic display from Computronics.

The customised variable message sign (VMS) is encased in a stainless steel cabinet with cut-out back lettering, measuring over 7.5 metres wide, and is used to promote events at the multi-purpose centre and within the community.

Sutherland Entertainment Centre is heavily utilised, hosting a wide variety of events each month, including conferences, presentations, dinners, product launches, community and professional theatre and concerts.

"The electronic sign is effective and attractive," says Paul Brien, Operations Coordinator, Sutherland Shire Council.

"People notice the sign, and it looks fantastic at night. It has boosted sales of ticketed events by 10%."

"The sign recoups costs by onselling advertising space to clients who hire the facilities as part of a package. It replaces canvas banners and posters at the centre," said Mr Brien.
